Applicants should provide information demonstrating that the screener meets the identified criteria by responding to each prompt with narrative and evidence.
- Narrative: Provide clear, concise summaries to address the prompts. Provide enough information to inform the reviewer of the main features, without becoming overly technical or excessive in length.
- Evidence: Support answers with links, attached documents, samples, or screenshots as best provide relevant evidence.
Applicants will answer a series of prompts to demonstrate that the screener:
- Is efficient.
- Provides alternate forms for multiple administration within the school year.
- Is reliable, valid, and has been normed.
- Provides technical support to those administering the screener and interpreting the results.
- Measures the commonly accepted dyslexia indicator skills listed in the body of the application.
- Produces scoring and reports with clear indication of dyslexia risk determination.
