Thank you for reviewing and commenting on the first draft of the North Dakota Health Content Standards. Your input will be reviewed and considered by the North Dakota content specialists revising the standards. The standards in this document are still under development. Placeholder items will be completed at a later stage in the process. The content specialists revising these standards were asked to create the first draft of the standards that:
- Are clear, easy to understand, measurable, and appropriate for the grade level;
- Do not require a specific instructional method or curriculum materials;
- Ensure students have the skills to prepare for college, careers, or the military upon graduation;
- Exhibit strong progressions in learning across grade levels; and
- Align to the requirements of NDCC.
