Instructions:
Each nomination will be evaluated based on the following criteria, with all categories receiving equal weight:
- Major achievements in aviation within North Dakota.
- Significant contributions to the development of others in North Dakota's aviation community.
- Special service to the State of North Dakota through aviation-related activities.
- Activities that bring credit to North Dakota aviation on a national or international level.
- Significant contribution to the local community or to the State of North Dakota that are not aviation-related (service clubs, church involvement, political activities, etc.)
Each nomination must include information that addresses all of these criteria. Nominations will be evaluated more accurately if the information is organized by category in the order listed above. Once the required criteria have been addressed, additional supporting materials, such as articles, letters of support, etc., may be included within the page limit. All materials must be typewritten, and the application package (including supporting documentation) is limited to a maximum of ten pages. Nominations exceeding this limit may not be considered.

Nominations may be submitted by mail to: ND Aeronautics Commission, PO Box 5020, Bismarck, ND 58502, or electronically via email to ndaero@nd.gov no later than August 31st of each year for consideration of induction the following spring.
