North Dakota Council on the Arts (NDCA) is creating a special publication titled “Murals Across North Dakota” as part of NDCA’s 60th Anniversary celebration in 2027. We are gathering information about murals of all types from across the state to help us showcase the creativity, community spirit, history, and cultural identity reflected in North Dakota’s public art.

This project will include two major components: a beautifully designed printed book and a statewide digital mural map on NDCA’s website. Every mural submitted through this form will be added as a pin on the public interactive map (once basic information is verified). This means your submission can help highlight your community, drive cultural tourism, and make it easier for residents and visitors to discover public art throughout North Dakota.

Please note: Not all murals will be selected for inclusion in the book itself. However, submitting your mural ensures it will be considered for the publication and added to the online mural map, giving it valuable visibility statewide and beyond.
